Alexia D. Mazzone, M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder, Owner, and Director

Alexia Mazzone has a passion for working with children and loves watching them achieve their communication potential. She takes great pride in her ability to connect with kids and reach out to families. Alexia enjoys watching the profound change often seen in a family dynamic as the child develops and increases their communication skills.

Alexia earned her Bachelor of Arts from U.C. Santa Barbara and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the Pacific. She holds a certificate of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). Alexia is also licensed by the state of California Department of Consumer Affairs Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.

Alexia is trained in oral placement and motor planning techniques such as Talk Tools and PROMPT©, the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to FeedingLidcombe Program for Stuttering, the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading, spelling, and writing, she is proficient in Sentence Writing Strategy and is committed to staying current on the latest research-based treatment methods.

Alexia has worked with children with a wide variety of deficits and loves the personalization and intensity that is possible in a private setting as she sees faster gains in this environment. She believes that every child has the potential to improve; therefore she sets high standards so that the children she works with will succeed.

Jill Saccoman
Office manager

Jill Saccoman was raised on the Peninsula and has always loved children and working with them. She has worked in preschools for the last 13 years in both the classroom and on the administrative side as an Assistant Director. Jill studied Early Childhood Education at Cañada College in Redwood City.
