Who Cares About Generalization?

Our client’s work with a team of therapists to ensure that they are able to demonstrate newly mastered skills outside of the clinic setting once they are learned at TALK! Research shows that in order for our clients to meet their goals, they need to generalize their learned skills across environments such as school, daycare, and home. TALK’s team approach ensures that our clients are NOT learning one skill, one way, and with one person, but instead learning a variety of skills in different ways with a team of therapists!

TALK’s team consists of a lead therapist who develops the comprehensive intake report, the treatment plan, and monitors your child’s progress. Our team approach also consists of an alternate therapist who implements your child’s treatment plan, and a lead director who oversees your child’s case and collaborates with our therapists. TALK believes that this collaborative approach contributes to continued progress and successful generalization across settings and people!
